I am LaTriska Small, Principal and Broker of Equity Heart. I have spent the last two and a half decades working as a third-party property manager for some leading commercial real estate brokerages from CBRE, Transwestern, PM Realty Group, and NAI Houston.
I have serviced Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITS), Joint Ventures (JV), and single asset owners. I started my career on the front lines as a receptionist and acquired many skills throughout my journey. My expertise encompasses all aspects of real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, property management, construction management, marketing, and leasing.
My accomplishments have led to my recognition as the 2008 Property Manager of the Year from Global Realty Investments, the 2013 Rising Star award from Inland American Retail, and the Asset Management Award for Premiere Operations Professional in 2015 from American Healthcare Investors.
I have more than 25 years of hands-on experience in commercial real estate, with a focus on office, retail, medical office, and industrial properties. Throughout my career, I have overseen assets and teams in Texas, the East Coast, and the Midwest, totaling 20 million square feet and led construction projects from ground up construction, tenant build outs, building improvements, and flood remediation projects.
